Exactingly pre-shaped in the manufacturing process so that it perfectly matches the curvature of our lenses when installed. Each Smith Optics Polarized lens is in fact  two thin wafers of either Techlite glass or Carbonic lens material between which this high-grade polarized film is fitted, protecting it from the elements and ensuring distortion free polarization.
